Here’s what a TV news anchor wrote after their Private Screening of work-in-progress scenes from the feature film.
“I feel like a different person. I can’t really seem to express what it is I feel except that I know there’s a change. It took me a few days to put it into words – the emotion is so overwhelming. It’s like I haven’t really seen everything around me until today, and I’m saddened by the loss of all the years I’ve wasted, and yet relieved I realized what I’ve been missing all these years just in the nick of time. You know this is monumental.”

rather than through galleries.
Every painting of mine has sold.
Pricing patterns were established
as a buyer's market from the start
four decades ago, by a Toronto
Stock Exchange Governor and a Bay
Street investor, both art collectors.

to mind for a film studio department head upon seeing River Ice paintings from
THE INDIGO CADRE collection.

The book Fiery Vision Bright was produced along side a 1995 retrospective show at the University of British Columbia, in Vancouver.

I am making a feature film that is now in post production. This film and the Indigo Cadre paintings are two parts of
THE BEGGARS BANQUET PROJECT.
One viewer said “There is a reverence in Terry’s film that is extremely raw.”
As the former Chairman of the Toronto International Film Festival, Allen Karp, said, “Terry Black is creating a whole new genre.”
